tests make me forget to breathe

(via icanread)

yes, forgot to breathe.

especially now, when exams is just around the corner. and i'm still going through the endless notes frantically.
doesnt help that drilling is going on outside the house (they are constructing the lifts), drilling below the house (renovation going on).. drilling EVERYWHERE!
plus having to melayan my aching tooth / whatever it is that's causing the pain. just realised ada ulcer plak at the part where the tooth is hurting. :/
pain that is really out of this world, i'm telling you.

it's making me very moody cos i'm constantly in a state of hunger (good time to puasa really but i need my painkillers hence i need to eat) and i dont wanna eat bubur or oats anymore. the thought of it makes me wanna puke.
currently i'm relying on mashed potatoes. but even that will tire me out eventually. have to constantly remind myself that this pain is temporary.

temporary.

 with all that is going on, i sometimes forgot to breathe.

i sometimes forgot that God is testing me.

i sometimes forgot that He will bring me through this pain.

So dear Allah, i know i always forget (yes humans are made with a sense of forgetfulness)

but do forgive me when i forget.

reminder to self:
there are others going through a much worse pain than me. others who are going through permanent pain. hence thank you Allah for this temporary pain. help me to always be grateful to You. Ameen.

want this to be my love story

"The best love story for a Muslim is finding another Muslim who makes their Imaan rise, who makes them want to gain knowledge and become more pious, what is more blessed than that?"

never easy but always worth it

(via quote-book)

Love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't.
Life is too short for regrets.

but anyways

"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful you will win some false friends and true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;

It was never between you and them anyway."

ingat 5 perkara sebelum 5 perkara

"Take advantage of 5 matter before 5 other matters:

your YOUTH, before you become old,
your HEALTH, before you fall sick,
your RICHNESS, before you become poor,
your FREE TIME before you become busy,
and your LIFE, before your death."

(via islamic-quotes)

Have a blessed Friday all.

taking chances

"I’ve been thinking a lot lately about taking chances, and how it’s really just about overcoming your fears. Because the truth is, every time you take a big risk in your life, no matter how it ends up, you’re always glad you took it."

always ask to be in Allah's good grace, insya-Allah

"If Allah wishes a person well, he will learn to behave properly and give up his bad habits, but if Allah wishes him ill, he will go on living in the old same way, and so be a loser in this world and the hereafter."

- Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani -

(via islamic-quotes)

May we always be in Allah's good grace. Ameen.

rely upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him

"And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a (decreed) extent."

(Qur'an Surah At-Talaq 65:2-3)

(via islamicthinking)

rely on Allah, and that is enough for you.
