it's November.

a teacher's life

wow, it has been a while hasn't it since my last update.. hehe.

well, many things have been happening definitely. some good, some not so good, but mostly good. alhamdulillah. :)

had my 1st-hand teaching of the 1 Express students earlier today & alhamdulillah it went well despite the fact that i mis-judged the time & ended 10 mins earlier.. haha.. but thank god, i know how to membebel until the 10 mins was up.. LOL!

school has been great, colleagues so far so good, some colleagues are really god-sent. :) 

students are adorable really, not the cute kind of adorable but very baik & smart adorable.. i'm loving them already.. or maybe i should not speak too soon.. hehe..

all in all, i'm just really really very grateful for everything that has been happening..

may Allah continue to bestow good things upon me.. and if He wishes to test me, may i be given the strength to overcome it with patience.. may WE ALL be given the strength & patience to go through anything that is thrown in our way.. insya-Allah.. amin..

patience, strength, prayer

And whatever it is I'm going through right now, i have faith that Allah knows what is best for me.

"...Bear with patience whatever befalls you...." (Qur'an 31:17)

"Be not sad, surely Allah is with us." (Qur'an 9:40)

Our Prophet (pbuh) said: "Verily, if Allah loves a people, He makes them go through trials. Whoever is satisfied, for him is contentment, and whoever is angry upon him is wrath." [Tirmidhi]

I know He loves me, and He knows what i know not.

Dear Allah, strengthen my Imaan and let me be among whom you favour.

"Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. So they returned with Grace and Bounty from Allah. No harm touched them; and they followed the good Pleasure of Allah. And Allah is the owner of Great Bounty." (Qur'an 3:173-174)

By leaving your affairs to Allah by depending on Him, by trusting in His promise, by being pleased with His decree, by thinking favourably of Him, and by waiting patiently for His help, you reap some of the greater fruits of faith. When you incorporate these qualities, you will be at peace concerning the future, because you will depend on Allah for everything.

Semoga hati ini tidak putus daripada menerima hidayah dan rahmat dariMu ya Allah. insyaAllah, amin.

“May Allaah subhanahu wa ta’ala accept our fasting, our prayers, our worships and all our good deeds done in the month of Ramadan.
Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower - Rabbana taqabbal minna innaka antas Sameeaul Aleem.”
